We have conducted seven successful editions of this fest, and the eighth edition – Verba Maximus ’18 – returns with a 2-day literary whirlwind that’s hard to miss. Kunal Kamra is a Bombay based stand-up comedian and host of the popular political-comedy podcast Shut Up Ya Kunal. After 8 years in advertising, Kunal started doing stand-up in 2013. He rose through the ranks at blistering pace and is currently well established as one of India’s most important and popular voices on stage and social media, known for his fearless, incisive and often polarizing material. He is also one of the very few from the Indian scene who is a comedian’s comedian as well as popular amongst the masses who sells out venues regularly across the country.

Breaking news updates will help you as go along, although conflicting news reports might get in your way. And when the clock runs out, it’s your job to write down an unbiased report,after interviewing the suspects, by connecting the dots in order to help deliver justice.
A person who advocates an opposing or unpopular cause for the sake of argument or to expose it to thorough examination is known as the devil’s advocate. Whether it’s speaking for the legalization of kidnapping or justifying why child labour is viable, be prepared for banana peels your way, as you put your argumentative powers to the ultimate test!
This adaptation of the famous radio and television programme, ‘Just A Minute’, puts your blabbing skills to the test, as you try to speak for as long as you can (only in Queen's English) before your competitors object. Be sure to mind your p’s and q’s, for the language might be the only thing civil here and always remember, ‘Mod is God’.
